AFGOOEY - BACKGROUND AND GENETICS
The Strain Hunters have some tasty bud in their catalogue for sure and this one is no exception - feast your eyes upon the exciting and mighty Afgooey! This is a famous cross from Northern California that was only available as a cutting till now. The Strain Hunters are the first to bring it out in feminized format after a successful backcrossing. She is an incredible strain that was created by mixing Afghan with Maui Haze. The outcome is an indica-dominant cultivar (70% indica, 30% sativa) that has a lot of sativa influence in its high.
AFGOOEY - GROWTH AND YIELD
Afgooey is a very strong, powerful plant that stays short with an average internodal spacing of under 5cm. The dark green leaves are thick and overlap each other. This variety has a bushy structure and fat stems. The dried buds are pear-shaped, dense and compact with medium to large calyxes that are covered with resin. When you break them up, they are frosty and look light green with dark hues. Afgooey is ready for harvest after 8 weeks of flowering and, boy, is this a massive yielder! Indoors you can achieve up to a mind-blowing 900g/m², while outdoor gardeners are able to produce 1000g/plant. This strain can tolerate high EC-levels, is suited for SOG or ScrOG and basically performs well on all growing mediums. What more could you ask for?
