Cannabis Info
The next Wonder of the World has been discovered. A phenomenal cannabis product has emerged from the good ol’ shwag days. Ladies and gentlemen, Moon Rocks are here, and they’re here to stay. If you wish to experience intergalactic highs, getting acquainted with Moon Rocks is a must. This cannabis product has elevated cannabinoid-infused endeavours to levels beyond comprehension. Here, we go through everything you need to know about Moon Rocks and how to incorporate this cannabis treasure into your rituals.
To put it as simply as possible, Moon Rocks are buds glazed with hash oil and covered with kief. The general understanding is that Moon Rocks comprise 50% THC on average, but the concentrations can vary greatly. Moon Rocks have been introduced into the wider market by the likes of Dr. Zodiak’s Moonrock, a company that collaborates with rappers like Kurupt and Ghostface Killah on specialty versions of the products. Moon Rocks are also supported by celebrity stoners like Snoop Dogg, and have therefore amassed popularity among fans and followers.
Moon Rocks are meant to be otherworldly and appreciated as one of the finer canna-connoisseur inventions. They look like fuzzy rocks, comprising intense potency in each layer of their composition. The cannabis strains used to make Moon Rocks differ greatly, and ultimately depend on user preference. The amounts of every necessary ingredient vary greatly as well, which opens up many possibilities for creating unique Moon Rocks at home!

The recipe for making Moon Rocks is fairly simple and straightforward.
1. First, make sure that you’re working in a sterile environment. Clean off the kitchen top or table and get started.
2. Choose the optimal bud. It should be quite dense and on the drier side; this will allow the hash oil to coat the bud instead of drenching it, which would make it hard to handle. Also, make sure that the bud is of premium quality and that it’s relatively round. As a rule of thumb, when you discover that bud in your stash that looks so perfect that you need to take a picture of it and send it to your friends, use that.
3. Now we move on to choosing the correct hash oil. It can be BHO, CO₂ oil, RSO, virtually any hash oil (not hash). To apply, heat the oil slightly and glaze the bud using the pipette. Alternatively, use a small brush to “paint” the entire surface of the bud. Hold the bud with tweezers so your hand doesn’t get sticky. Submerging the bud in oil is not recommended as the ratio of oil may be too intense. Plus, the bud could get slightly soggy and disintegrate in the process.
4. Now it’s time to get that grinder and retrieve kief from the bottom compartment. Sprinkle the hash oil-covered bud with kief. Make sure to do it over an area where you can retrieve any excess kief. Sprinkle the bud from all sides and really cover every single part of it. Voilà! the Moon Rock has been concocted!
Now that the Moon Rock masterpiece has been created, you’re ready for take-off. Moon Rocks are meant to be smoked in glass bongs—placing them in a joint will not work as intended. Vaping Moon Rocks is not optimal either, because often the vaporizers have separate chambers for oil and flower. Just rip off a small portion of the bud, place it in a bong, light it, toke it.
The effects can be quite powerful. So, advice for all novice consumers, just start with a small piece, wait, and build from there. After the Moon Rock has been created and consumed, off to space you go! On your way there, please take a picture of our planet and send it to The Flat Earth Society.
